The Challenge
With over 45,000 employees around the world, Liberty Mutual has a diverse and passionate team delivering best-in-class insurance products and services. To empower these motivated individuals, Liberty Mutual wanted a dynamic and informational internal advocacy center that would educate employees on how they could best participate in the civic process to impact the issues that mattered most to them.
The Approach & Solution
Beekeeper Group created a series of materials, including detailed one-pagers, highlighting the journey legislation travels through Congress as it becomes law. This also included a call script for stakeholders to participate in the process themselves by contacting their representative. These resources were housed on the Liberty Mutual intranet in a new Advocacy Hub and promoted with a brief animated video to bring the series to life.
The Results
The new Civics Hub for Liberty Mutual was well-received by employees and promoted through internal channels. These materials provided a baseline for the Public Affairs and Government Relations team to continue to support team members in advocating for the issues that matter most to them.
