Mental Health in the Workplace
National Alliance on Mental Illness
The Challenge
The core challenge was that the National Alliance on Mental Illness’s (NAMI) partners lacked the necessary training and tools to empower their staff to confidently engage in conversations about mental health with their managers. This also included a need for guidance on how to identify, approach, and address a team member going through a mental health crisis.
The Approach & Solution
Beekeeper Group produced a four-part video series in-studio, ensuring a high-quality, professional look and feel. The cohesive branding and format were designed to be versatile, making the videos easily adaptable for use by both NAMI and its partner organizations, including large retailers. The content featured a mix of internal staff and experienced NAMI spokespersons, adding credibility and a human element to the training.
The Results
The four videos were paired with four corresponding infographics and uploaded to the partner company’s learning management software (LMS) for employees and managers to engage through structured trainings. The platform created a new engagement channel for NAMI to explore with its longstanding corporate partners.
