Sam is an Account Assistant at Beekeeper with a strong background in legislative policy, grassroots development, and content creation. He has particular expertise in copywriting, media monitoring, and health policy communications.
Before joining the Hive, Sam was on Capitol Hill, working in press and legislative roles in both the House and Senate. Sam has also been a national grassroots leader and cancer advocate with the American Cancer Society, founding their Young Leaders Caucus and leading their National Campus and Youth Engagement Team.
Sam graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in global health and philosophy, earning honors with distinction in bioethics. While at school, he built Feinberg School of Medicine’s community-engaged research curriculum and served as Membership Co-Chair for the American Public Health Association’s Student Assembly.
In his free time, Sam can be found cheering on the New York Giants, proofreading college application essays, or trying to recreate his grandmother’s chicken paprikash.
