Sophia Flionis is an Account Manager at Beekeeper Group, where she excels at developing advocacy strategy, grassroots engagement, and strategic digital operations. She is passionate about creating strong voices for small organizations and lifting up meaningful, impactful stories of inspiration and empowerment to drive meaningful change in the policy and advocacy space.
Prior to her position at Beekeeper Group, Sophia worked for the American Planning Association, where she managed their advocacy program, and previously worked for Massachusetts State Representative Hannah Kane as a Legislative Aide. Sophia also has experience running non-profit social media accounts and driving strategic SEO and digital content strategy at a public relations firm.
Sophia holds a double bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University in Politics and Communication and a minor in Humanitarian Action. Sophia has also completed her Project Management Certification and is working toward her Grassroots Manager Certification through the Public Affairs Council.
Based in Washington, DC., Sophia can be found at the gym before work or with a book in her hand after work, as well as in her kitchen creating new recipes from all different cuisines.
