It’s time for the Hive Five, Beekeeper Group’s newsletter that we hope inspires you with fresh ideas from our recent work, shares industry trends and events, and helps you get to know our team. Here’s what we’ve been buzzing about lately:

Navigating the AI Wilderness
In case you missed it, Beekeeper Group launched a guide to help advocacy practitioners explore the opportunities and pitfalls of using AI at your organization. Navigating the AI Wilderness: A Guide for Advocacy Professionals serves as a map and compass for your journey through the modern AI ecosystem, with all its complexities and charms. If you’ve been curious or cautious about using AI, check out our guide to help you get started.

Don’t Tax My Credit Union
In January, Beekeeper Group partnered with America’s Credit Unions to launch a new website for the Don’t Tax My Credit Union campaign aimed at defending the not-for-profit status of credit unions nationwide. With over 140 million credit union members in the US, this informative hub highlights the credit union difference through clearly defined data, an interactive map, and testimonial stories. Follow along throughout 2025 as we continue to support this important initiative.

Policy Influence in a Shifting Landscape
In February, Beekeeper Group hosted a panel in partnership with Washington Women in Public Relations on policy influence in a shifting landscape. The panel was moderated by Kelsey Flora from SK Group, and featured Stephanie Joyce from the American Gas Association, Brooklyn Bass from JP Morgan Chase, and our own Alex Dickinson. Our main takeaway: Do what you can to slow things down. The landscape is shifting rapidly now, so organizations should strive to avoid being reactive.

Beekeeper Group Spring Training
Every year, the Beekeeper Group team comes together to learn from each other and subject matter experts to hone our skills and work better as a team. Spring Training is set to take place later this month, and this year the theme is Elevating What We Do. Some items on the docket? Congressional trivia, a team-building assessment, writing workshops, and a working session with the culture committee.
